Meet The Practice Owner

Thomas W. Romanus

M.Ed., LPC, CAADC, licensed in Pennsylvania

I’m Thomas (Tom) Romanus, founder of Mindful Journey Wellness Center and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania with over 25 years of professional experience. Before clinical practice, I spent more than two decades in executive consulting and leadership—supporting C- and V-suite professionals, physicians, entrepreneurs, and healthcare leaders and medical staff. I blend that real-world perspective with warm, focused, evidence-informed care for individuals and couples, especially those carrying high responsibility or working through trust repair, anxiety, burnout, or communication challenges. I’m also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and trauma informed care (EMDR) clinician. My aim is simple: practical, compassionate therapy that translates into better conversations, stronger connections, and everyday growth and relief.

Both. Telehealth visits are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant platform

We’re out-of-network and provide superbills; pay by major credit cards, HSA/FSA, check, or exact-cash.

Generally, Mon–Fri 9–6 and Sat mornings; Evenings as needed.
